About the one and only thing I accomplished on my sick day was this moodboard for a friend who is expecting a baby girl in July. Hoping my style changes a bit when it comes time for me to have a little one because I seriously want to use this as my own! If she doesn’t go for it, it’s allll mine!

A Very Future Kitchen Remodel

I’ve been daydreaming about a new kitchen lately and that paired with a little Pinterest obsession, my desire to renovate our kitchen is stronger than ever! Although I know this project is very much in the future I thought I better put a mood board together … to gather all of my ideas … so they are in one place … in addition to my Pinterest board, of course. HEY, a girl can dream right!

So, what do ya think? I’m going for a fresh and functional look that also appears clean and sleek.

The countertops are a Silestone Quartz. A very hard, resilient, and scratch, stain, heat and bacterial resistant material, making them an excellent choice for kitchen countertops. I’ve always been intrigued by the elegant look of Quartz.

With all of the options out there today, do any of you prefer Quartz over Granite over Corian, etc? Would love to hear your thoughts!
